Adedamola Adefolahan popularly referred to as Fireboy DML is a Nigerian singer, stage performer, and songwriter. He was born on the 5th of February, 1996, and was raised in Abeokuta, Ogun State where he finished his primary and secondary school education.
In addition, As a young adult, Fireboy was a member of the choir in his choice for he has a sonorous voice for singing. After his Secondary School education, he further went to Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife (OAU) where he studied English.

Fireboy was discovered by a musical legend, Olamide who signed him into the record label YBNL. His debut single “jealous” first appeared on YBNL Mafia Family in 2018 before he re-released it in 2019. The song was produced by Cracker Mallo and it is centered on love and the complicated feelings that go along with it, the title had said it all “Jealous”. It was directed by Director K.
Furthermore, Fireboy DML released another romantic single titled “What If I Say”. It was produced by Pheelz, who incorporated a mix of percussion, harmonies, ambient synth, and a drum riff into the production. The visuals for the song were directed by TG Omori.
