Her father came from the Yoruba tribe while her mother, who was from the Igbo tribe was a great advantage to her. She was chanced to tap from the Yoruba and Igbo ethnicities of her parents.

Yemi Alade is a Nigerian singer with a wonderful African voice. She sings in English, French, Yoruba, Pidgin, and Igbo. Yemi first gained popularity when she appeared in a TV Show titled Peak Talent Show 2019 and she was signed into Effyzie Music Group.
Her debut studio album King of Queens was released in 2014, October 2nd. Yemi collaborated with producers such as Selebobo, Shady Bizniz, Sizzle Pro, Young D, Philkeyz, DIL, Jezreel, EL Mcee, Mr. Chidoo, OJB, GospelOnDeBeatz, and Beat Nation.
